Frontend Engineer

Remote Full-time Engineering

You own the seRevel frontend: the React and Next.js app SEs work in all day, and the branded POC portals their prospects open on their own devices, sometimes on the customer's own domain. Today a small team of SEs and developers builds all of it alongside everything else. You take the UI over, set the performance and accessibility bar, and make data-dense screens feel fast and obvious.

What you'll do

  • Own the product UI end to end in React, Next.js and TypeScript: from component to shipped screen.
  • Build the customer-facing POC portals: branded per POC, opened by prospects who never signed up for seRevel, so they have to look like the customer's product and work without a walkthrough.
  • Build and maintain the design system so features from any engineer ship consistent. There is no design team; you make the calls and document them.
  • Design data-dense dashboards for use-case intelligence, AI insights and team analytics that stay legible when the tables get long and the numbers get big.
  • Keep performance measurable: bundle size, load time and interaction latency on real customer data, not demo data.
  • Make accessibility the default: keyboard navigation, screen readers, contrast and focus management on every screen, not a ticket at the end.
  • Work directly with the SEs on the team, who use the product every day, and turn their friction into fixes.

What we're looking for

  • Production experience with React and TypeScript, and you have shipped in Next.js or can pick it up fast.
  • You have built interfaces that show a lot of data at once (tables, charts, timelines) and made them fast and readable.
  • You can profile, measure and fix web performance rather than guess at it.
  • You know accessibility beyond the checklist: semantic HTML first, ARIA where it helps, tested with a keyboard and a screen reader.
  • You are comfortable being the design opinion in the room: you can implement a mockup faithfully and make good visual and interaction calls when there is none.
  • You write clearly and ship in small increments. On a small remote team that is how work gets reviewed and merged.

Nice to have

  • You have built or maintained a design system or component library that more than one person depends on.
  • Familiarity with the rest of our stack: Node, Postgres, Docker, and integrations with tools like Salesforce, Slack, Jira or Gong.
  • You have worked on B2B SaaS where your customer's customer also uses the UI: portals, embeds, white-labeled or shared views.
  • You have been a Sales Engineer, worked next to one, or sat through a POC from either side of the table.
